Egypt’s market starts first session of 2023 with increase in main index by 0.01%

Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) has the first trading session of the year 2023 on Monday with market capitalization of EGP 964.057 billion.

The bench mark EGX30 rose at the beginning of the EGX trading today by 0.01% to reach 14.599 points.

Investors traded on 119 shares, 2 share rose and 117 shares remained stable.

However, the turnover reached 4.032 million securities dealt in cash executed on 658 transactions, bringing the total trading volume to EGP 4.519 million
