EGX ends 1st session of the year with an increase in main index
Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) has ended Monday, 2 January trading session with market capitalization of EGP 983.296 billion.
The bench mark EGX30 rose slightly at the end of the EGX trading session today by 2.84% to close at 14.961 points.
Investors traded on 201 shares, 134 shares rose, 9 shares fell and 58 shares remained stable.
However, the turnover reached 912.057 billion securities dealt in cash executed on 71.498 transactions, bringing the total trading volume to EGP 1.630 billion.
