Al Baraka Bank's corporate financing rose by 134% over the last 4 years

Al Baraka Bank has been able to achieve record growth in the size of its corporate finance portfolio over the last 4 years, having jumped by 133.86% and an increase of 27.52 billion pounds, registering 48.08 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 20.56 billion by the end of 2020.

Tracking the portfolio growth journey over the period under analysis, Al Baraka Bank achieved the fastest annual growth rate in its corporate finance volume in 2022 by 42.91%, after the total portfolio moved from 21.73 billion pounds by the end of 2021, reaching 31.05 billion by the end of 2022, with an increase of 9.33 billion pounds.

Over the past year, the Bank saw its second fastest annual growth rate in its enterprise finance portfolio over the period under analysis of 33% after rising to 48.08 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared with 36.15 billion billion by the end of December 2023, an increase of 11.93 billion pounds.

The strong growth in the size of the bank's corporate finance, driven by the growth of the portfolio of direct financing of companies at a rate of 139.6% and an increase of 23.71 billion pounds during the period under analysis, reached 40.70 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared with 16.99 billion by the end of 2020, while the portfolio grew at a growth rate of 28.71% over the past year.

The Bank's syndicated financing portfolio jumped at a growth rate of 106.87%, bringing an increase of 3.81 billion pounds during the period under analysis, to 7.38 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 357 billion by the end of 2023.

In general, Al Baraka Bank was able to achieve outstanding results in its main financial indicators over the past year. The bank's net profit increased by 35.42% and an increase of 787.81 million pounds, after registering about 3.01 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 2.22 billion in 2023.

In terms of its financial position, the Bank's total assets increased at a growth rate of 27.22% and an increase of 27.34 billion pounds over the past year, reaching 127.79 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 100.45 billion pounds by the end of 2023.

The total deposits of the Bank's customers also increased by 25.37% and the value of the increase in the portfolio was about 21.57 billion pounds over the past year, registering 106.57 billion pounds by the end of 2024.
