CIB records the fastest annual growth in its asset portfolio over the last decade, with 45.26% growth

Commercial International Bank «CIB» strengthened its financial position significantly over the past year, which is evident in the increase in its portfolio of assets by about 45.26% over the past year, to reach 1.209 trillion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 832.527 billion pounds by the end of 2023, which represents an increase of 376.791 billion pounds, thus recording its fastest annual growth in 8 years, and its largest value increase ever.
This comes as a result of the bank's innovative strategies that focused on enhancing trust with customers and providing advanced banking solutions that meet the needs of the changing market, and thanks to the efforts of Hisham Ezz Al-Arab, the bank's CEO, and his assistant team.
In terms of growth rates achieved in recent years, the bank achieved growth of about 31.39% in its assets during 2023, while it recorded growth of about 27.58% and 16.55% during the period from 2022 to 2021.
As for its performance during 2020, its portfolio of assets increased by about 10.20%, while it achieved growth of 12.93%, 16.17%, and 11.72% during the years 2019, 2018, and 2017, respectively.
The bank's financial performance over the past year reflects a strong trend towards achieving comprehensive and sustainable growth, as it recorded notable increases in many key financial indicators, which reflects its ambitious strategy and future vision to strengthen its position in the banking market.
This is through its focus on providing innovative services and integrated solutions that meet customer needs, as the bank seeks to consolidate its presence as a leading financial institution capable of adapting to continuous economic changes, which enhances its competitiveness in a dynamic market environment and confirms its aspirations towards achieving more successes in the future.
The bank's net profits jumped to 55.427 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 28.768 billion pounds in 2023, with a growth rate of 92.67%, and a total increase of 26.659 billion pounds.
Net income from revenue increased by about 72.17% over the past year, reaching 90.816 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 52.746 billion pounds in 2023, an increase of 38.069 billion pounds.
