EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 37.643 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during May, the index reached 37.643 points, compared to 37.738  points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt decrease from EGP 50.49 to EGP 50.44 while the average buying fell from EGP 50.39 to EGP 50.34 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt increase from EGP 56.08 to EGP 56.61 while the average buying rose from  EGP 55.95 to EGP 56.50 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt increase from EGP 66.69 to EGP 67.28 while the average rose from EGP 66.54 to EGP 67.11 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increase from EGP 34.11 to EGP 34.54 while the average buying rose from EGP 34.03 to EGP 34.46 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt decrease from EGP 7.01 to  EGP 7.00 while the average buying  fell from  EGP 6.99 to  EGP 6.98 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt decrease from EGP 13.46 to  EGP 13.44 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.43 to  EGP 13.42 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham decrease from EGP 13.74 to  EGP 13.73 while the average buying fell from  EGP 13.71 to EGP 13.70 at the end of today's trading.
