ADCB's Personal loans record the fastest annual growth in the last 4 years

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank-Egypt «ADCB» was able to achieve remarkable growth in its total personal loans over the past year, as they jumped at a growth rate of 33.4%, which is the fastest annual growth rate in the last 4 years, bringing the size of the portfolio from 7.80 billion pounds by the end of 2023, and recording 10.40 billion.By the end of 2024, achieving an increase of 2.60 billion pounds.

Tracking the portfolio’s growth journey over the period under analysis, it achieved the second fastest annual growth rate in the size of its personal loan portfolio during the year 2021, at 21.2% and an increase of 1.23 billion pounds, after the portfolio size reached about 7.02 billion pounds by the end of 2021, compared to 5.79 billion by the end of 2020.

As for the development of the size of his portfolio during the year 2022, it recorded a growth rate of 7.5% after rising to 7.54 billion pounds by the end of 2022, compared to 7.02 billion by the end of 2021, while it increased at a growth rate of 3.3% during the year 2023.

In general, «ADCB» Bank was able to achieve strong results in its main financial indicators during the past year, as its net profits increased at a growth rate of 109%, recording 4.27 billion pounds during 2024, compared to 2.05 billion pounds during 2023, an increase of 2.23 billion pounds.

The bank’s total portfolio of customer loans and facilities jumped at a growth rate of 45.4% and an increase of 17.17 billion pounds over the past year, reaching 54.96 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 37.79 billion by the end of 2026.

The size of the customer deposit portfolio increased at a growth rate of 34.5% and an increase of 29.87 billion pounds over the past year, reaching 116.50 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 86.64 billion by the end of 2023.

In terms of the total asset portfolio, it increased by 37% over the past year, after rising to 134.16 billion pounds by the end of 2024, compared to 98.06 billion by the end of 2023, achieving an increase of 36.09 billion pounds.
