EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 38.157 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during , 17 July 2025, the index reached 38.157 points, compared to 37.834 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and fell against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt setteled at EGP 49.47 while the average buying setteled at EGP 49.37 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 58.43 to EGP 57.28 while the average buying fell from EGP 58.30 to EGP 57.16 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 68.11 to EGP 66.26 while the average buying fell from EGP 67.95 to EGP 66.11 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.61 to EGP 33.26 while the average buying fell from EGP 34.54 to EGP 33.19 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt setteled at  EGP 13.47 while the average buying setteled at EGP 13.44 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal setteled at  EGP 13.19  while the average buying setteled at EGP 13.16 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decrease from  EGP 6.90 to EGP 6.89 while the average buying price fell from EGP 6.89 to EGP 6.87 at the end.
