EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 38.212 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during , 21 July 2025, the index reached 38.212 points, compared to 38.172 points at last Monday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and fell against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 49.40 to EGP 49.29 while the average buying fell from EGP 49.30 to EGP 49.19 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 57.44 to EGP 57.47 while the average buying rose from EGP 57.31 to EGP 57.34 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 66.26 to EGP 66.38 while the average buying rose from EGP 66.09 to EGP 66.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 33.20 to EGP 33.37 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.12 to EGP 33.29 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from  EGP 13.45 to EGP 13.42 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.42 to EGP 13.39 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from  EGP 13.17 to EGP 13.14  while the average buying fell from EGP 13.14 to EGP 13.11 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decrease from  EGP 6.88 to EGP 6.86 while the average buying price fell from EGP 6.86 to EGP 6.85 at the end.
