Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Wednesday 13 August 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.3665  for buying and EGP 48.5041  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in Suez Canal Bnak at EGP 48.51  .

The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 48.45   .

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.1486  for buying and EGP 56.3132  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 56.35   .

The lowest rate for selling was in  «FABMISR»  at EGP 56.34   .

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.0771  for buying and EGP 65.2816  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 65.11  .

While the lowest rate for selling in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 65.21   .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8878   for buying and EGP 12.9251  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB-Egypt at EGP 12.93 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 12.92  .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP  158.1792   for buying and EGP 158.6812  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 158.29 .

The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 158.64   .

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.1674  for buying and EGP 13.2063 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in ADIB-Egypt at EGP 13.21 .

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was recorded in Faisal Bank at EGP 13.19 .
