EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.744 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during, Monday 25 August 2025, the index reached 38.744 points, compared to 38.807 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 6 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it decreased against  US dollar, Euro, pound  sterling, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan while it rose .against Japanese Yen

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.45 to EGP 48.55  while the average buying rose from EGP 48.35 to EGP 48.45  at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 56.77 to EGP 56.78 while the average buying rose from EGP 56.64 to EGP 56.66 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 65.56  to EGP 65.62 while the average buying rose from EGP 65.38 to EGP 65.46  at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.19 to EGP 13.22 while the average buying increased from EGP 13.16 to EGP 13.19 at the end of today's trading.
