Foreign exchange rates at the end of Wednesday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Wednesday 3 September 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.5195 for buying and EGP 48.6537 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 48.56.

The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 48.59.

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.4961 for buying and EGP 56.6573 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 56.43.

The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 56.59.

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.0355 for buying and EGP 65.2203 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in MID Bank at EGP 64.84.

While the lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 65.10.

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9306 for buying and EGP 12.9671 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.94.

The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 12.95.

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 158.5551 for buying and EGP 159.0458 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 158.89.

The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 159.02.

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.2090 for buying and EGP 13.2470 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.22.

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 13.23.
