The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Monday 8 September 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.4261 for buying and EGP 48.5594 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 48.59 .
The lowest rate for selling was in MID Bank at EGP 48.52 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.7408 for buying and EGP 56.9164 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 56.59 .
The lowest rate for selling was in HSBC at EGP 56.63 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.4043 for buying and EGP 65.6183 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in MID Bank at EGP 65.25 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in HSBC at EGP 65.23 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9054 for buying and EGP 12.9416 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.95 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 12.93 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 158.7480 for buying and EGP 159.2471 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in saib at EGP 158.57 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 158.62 .
Emirati Dirham
