EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.926 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during, Sunday 14 Septemebr 2025, the index reached 38.926  points, compared to 38.933 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it decreased against Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen while it increased against U.S dollar, Saudi riyal and remained stable agaisnt Chinese Yuan and UAE dirham  .

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 56.63 to EGP 56.70 while the average buying rose from EGP 56.50 to EGP 56.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 65.44  to EGP 65.66 while the average buying increased from EGP 65.28 to EGP 65.51 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 32.68 to EGP 32.72 while the average buying rose from  EGP 32.61 to EGP 32.65 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.26  to EGP 48.22 , while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.16 to EGP 48.12 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.86 to EGP 13.85 while the average buying fell from EGP 12.83 to EGP 12.82 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan remained stable at EGP 6.77 while the average buying price remained stable at EGP 6.75 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt remained stable at EGP 13.13  while the average buying fell from EGP 13.11 to EGP 13.10 at the end of today's trading.
