The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Wednesday 17 September 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.0440 for buying and EGP 48.1785 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB Egypt» at EGP 48.14 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 48.13 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.7256 for buying and EGP 56.8892 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 56.60 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Banque de Caire at EGP 56.85.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.4551 for buying and EGP 65.6481 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 65.46 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in Al Baraka Bank at EGP 65.67 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8087 for buying and EGP 12.8452 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.83 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 12.83 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 157.4336 for buying and EGP 157.9055 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 157.82 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 157.77 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.0792 for buying and EGP 13.1177 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank» at EGP 13.11.
