EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 38.930 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during,Sunday 21 Septemebr 2025, the index reached 38.930 points, compared to 38.847 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 4 currencies that measures the  performance of the pound, it increased against  Euro, pound sterling, ,Japanes Yen and Chinese Yuan while it decreased against  U.S dollar,  Saudi riyal , UAE dirham.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 57.08 to EGP 56.70 while the average buying fell from EGP 56.96 to EGP 56.57 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt fell from  EGP 65.77 to EGP 65.04 while the average buying fell from EGP 65.60 to EGP 64.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 32.75 to EGP 32.63 while the average buying fell from  EGP 32.68  to EGP 32.55 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan fell from EGP 6.79 to EGP 6.78 while the average buying price fell from EGP 6.77 to EGP 6.76 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.24 to EGP 48.27 , while the average buying increased from EGP 48.14 to EGP 48.17 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal increased from EGP 12.86 to EGP 12.87 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.83 to EGP 12.84 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 13.13 to EGP 13.14 while the average buying rose EGP 13.10 to EGP 13.11 at the end of today's trading.
