The foreign exchange rate witnessed a decrease at the end of Monday 29 September 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.9790 for buying and EGP 48.1157 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 48.14 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 48.05 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.2026 for buying and EGP 56.3964 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 56.50 .
The lowest rate for selling was in The United Bank at EGP 56.38 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.4214 for buying and EGP 64.6098 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 64.67 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 64.61 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.7924 for buying and EGP 12.8295 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.84 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 12.81 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 156.9993 for buying and EGP 157.5240 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 157.35 .
The lowest price for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 157.52 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.0612 for buying and EGP 13.1013 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.11 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «FABMISR» at EGP 13.08.
