The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Monday 6 October 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.5643 for buying and EGP 47.7000 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 47.76 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 47.65 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.8452 for buying and EGP 56.0188 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 55.94 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 56.03 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.1072 for buying and EGP 64.3043 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 64.12 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 64.26 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6821 for buying and EGP 12.7193 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.74 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 12.70 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 155.9997 for buying and EGP 156.4960 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «saib» at EGP 156.22 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 155.65 .
