The foreign exchange rate witnessed a decrease at the end of Monday 6 October 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.5466 for buying and EGP 47.6822 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 47.64 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «IDB» at EGP 47.61 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.4536 for buying and EGP 55.6166 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 55.79 .
The lowest rate for selling was in MID Bank at EGP 55.83 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 63.8028 for buying and EGP 64.0039 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in Banque de Caire at EGP 63.97 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «IDB» at EGP 64.50 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6774 for buying and EGP 12.7142 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.70 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 12.70 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 155.5335 for buying and EGP 156.0794 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 155.88 .
The lowest price for selling was in Banque de Caire at EGP 156.08 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9442 for buying and EGP 12.9822 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.97 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Al Baraka Bank-Egypt at EGP 12.97.
