Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Sunday’s trading
The foreign exchange rate witnessed a stability at the beginning of Sunday 19 October 2025 trading at Egypt's major bank.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.5127 for buying and EGP 47.6502 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «BANK NXT» at EGP 47.63 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ABK Egypt» at EGP 47.58 .
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.3714 for buying and EGP 55.5411 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «IDB» at EGP 55.36 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «AlexBank» at EGP 55.55 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 63.8049 for buying and EGP 64.0085 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «saib» at EGP 63.69 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in Bank de caire at EGP 63.83 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6680 for buying and EGP 12.7054 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «BANK NXT» at EGP 12.68 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «ABK Egypt» at EGP 12.69 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 155.3262 for buying and EGP 155.8521 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «KHF-Egypt» at EGP 155.68 .
The lowest price for selling was in «CIB» at EGP 155.59 .

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in Bank de caire at EGP 12.96 .
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in albaraka at EGP 12.95 .
