47.2% Rise in Remittances from Egyptians Abroad during the First Eight Months of 2025
Remittances from Egyptians working abroad recorded a significant surge during the first eight months of the current year (January/August 2025).
The remittances rose by 47.2%, registering record-breaking inflows of USD 26.6 billion,compared to USD 18.1 billion during the same period a year earlier.
On a monthly basis, remittances in August 2025 increased by 32.6% to register USD 3.5 billion against USD 2.6 billion in August 2024.
