Foreign exchange rates at the end of Tuesday trading
The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Tuesday 24 December 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.5218 for buying and EGP 47.6578 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 47.57.
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates NBD-Egypt» at EGP 47.54.
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.0329 for buying and EGP 56.2076 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «SC Bank» at EGP 56.04.
The lowest rate for selling was in «BDC» at EGP 55.87.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.2114 for buying and EGP 64.4000 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «SC Bank» at EGP 64.22.
While the lowest rate for selling was in «BDC» at EGP 63.75.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.6698 for buying and EGP 12.7067 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.68.
The lowest rate for selling was in «EGBANK» at EGP 12.68.
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 154.7084 for buying and EGP 155.2018 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 155.72.
The lowest price for selling was in «QNB-Egypt» at EGP 154.96.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9378 for buying and EGP 12.9784 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «HSBC-Egypt» at EGP 12.95.
