EGX30 ended Sunday with 2.23% decrease in benchmark index

Egyptian Stock Exchange «EGX30» has ended Sunday4 January 2026 trading session with market capitalization of 2.959 trillion.
The main index EGX30 recorded a decrease at today’s closing session by 2.23% to reach 42.007 points.
Investors traded on 217 shares, 62 shares rose, 137 fell and 18 shares remained stable.
However, the turnover reached 2 billion securities dealt in cash executed on 155.32 thousand transactions, bringing the total trading volume to 4.63 bn.
