EGX30 beginning Thuresday with 0.78% Increase in benchmark index

Egyptian Stock Exchange «EGX30» has Started Thuresday 8 January 2026 trading session with market capitalization of 3.006 trillion.

The main index EGX30 recorded an Increase at today’s beginning session by 0.78% to reach 41.869 points.

Investors traded on 218 shares, 101 shares rose, 46 fell and 71 shares remained stable.

However, the turnover reached 538 million securities dealt in cash executed on 44 thousand transactions, bringing the total trading volume to 1.258 bn.
