Foreign exchange rates at the end of Wednesday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed an increase at the close of trading on Wednesday, 14 January 2026. Below is a report on foreign currency rates at Egyptian banks:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 47.2817 for buying and EGP 47.3817 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the dollar was in «EBank», «ABK Egypt», and «ADIB» at EGP 47.32 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the dollar was in the National Bank of Kuwait–Egypt at EGP 47.20 at the close of banking transactions today.

Euro

The euro rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 55.0596 for buying and EGP 55.1855 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.

The highest rate for buying the euro was in the Egyptian Export Development Bank «EBank» and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt at EGP 55.07 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the euro was in the National Bank of Kuwait–Egypt at at EGP 55 at the close of banking transactions today.

Pound Sterling

As for the pound sterling, its rate against the Egyptian pound today recorded EGP 63.5844 for buying and EGP 63.7379 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the pound sterling was in the Egyptian Export Development Bank «EBank» and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt «ADIB» at EGP 63.50 at the close of banking transactions today.

While the lowest rate for selling the pound sterling was in the National Bank of Kuwait–Egypt at EGP 63.52 at the close of banking transactions today.

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate today recorded EGP 12.6071 for buying and EGP 12.6344 for selling, according to data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Saudi riyal was in the Egyptian Export Development Bank «EBank» and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt «ADIB» at EGP 12.62 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the Saudi riyal was in the National Bank of Kuwait–Egypt at EGP 12.61 at the close of banking transactions today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt recorded EGP 154.5912 for buying and EGP 154.9688 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in Kuwait Finance House Egypt at EGP 154.62 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the Kuwaiti dinar was in First Abu Dhabi Bank Egypt «FABMISR» at EGP 154.81 at the close of banking transactions today.

Emirati Dirham

Meanwhile, the Emirati dirham rate today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8721 for buying and EGP 12.9007 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in the Egyptian Export Development Bank «EBank» and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt «ADIB» at EGP 12.88 at the close of banking transactions today.

The lowest rate for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Emirates NBD Egypt at EGP 12.88 at the close of banking transactions today.
