Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Monday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of Monday 19 January 2026 trading at Egypt's major bank.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 47.3287 for buying and EGP 47.4274 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

.The highest rate for buying the dollar was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 47.40

The lowest rate for selling the dollar was in «NBK» at EGP 47.31.

Euro

The euro rate against the Egyptian pound recorded EGP 54.8871 for buying and EGP 55.0206 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.

.The highest rate for buying the euro was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 54.90 

.The lowest rate for selling the euro was in «Emirates NBD» at EGP 55.03 

Pound Sterling

As for the pound sterling, its rate against the Egyptian pound today recorded EGP 63.3305 for buying and EGP 63.4769 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the pound sterling was in «ADIB Egypt» at EGP 63.34.

While the lowest rate for selling the pound sterling was in «Emirates NBD» at EGP 63.48 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate today recorded EGP 12.6206 for buying and EGP 12.6477 for selling, according to data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Saudi riyal was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.64.

The lowest rate for selling the Saudi riyal was in «Emirates NBD» at EGP 12.62.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt recorded EGP 154.7448 for buying and EGP 155.1183 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «saib» at EGP 154.81.

The lowest rate for selling the Kuwaiti dinar was in «FABMISR» at EGP 154.350 .

Emirati Dirham

Meanwhile, the Emirati dirham rate today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8852 for buying and EGP 12.9128 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.91.

The lowest rate for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Arab Bank at EGP 12.89 .
