Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Tuesday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed a decision to start trading on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and we monitor the currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:

US Dollar

The price of the dollar against the Egyptian pound today recorded 47.3669 pounds for purchase and 47.4669 pounds for sale, according to the latest data issued on the website of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest price to buy the dollar in «saib», «KFH Egypt», came at the level of 47.47 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

The lowest selling price of the dollar in Banque du Caire was at 47.20 pounds at the beginning of Egyptian banks’ transactions today.

Euro

The price of the euro against the Egyptian pound today recorded 55.0877 pounds for purchase and 55.2134 pounds for sale, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.

The highest price to buy the euro in Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt, «saib» at the level of 55.22 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

The lowest selling price of the euro at Banque du Caire was recorded at a level of 55.04 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

British Pound Sterling

As for the pound sterling, its price today against the Egyptian pound recorded 63.5095 pounds for purchase and 63.6673 for sale, according to the latest data issued on the website of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest price to buy the pound sterling in the Suez Canal Bank came at the level of 63.68 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

While the lowest selling price of the pound sterling at Banque du Caire was recorded at a level of 63.53 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

Saudi Riyal

The price of the Saudi riyal today recorded 12.6308 pounds for purchase and 12.6582 pounds for sale, according to data issued on the website of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest price to buy the Saudi riyal at «KFH- Egypt» reached 12.66 pounds at the beginning of Egyptian banks’ transactions today.

The lowest selling price of the Saudi riyal in Banque du Caire came at the level of 12.59 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The price of the Kuwaiti dinar today in Egypt recorded 154.8696 pounds for purchase and 155.2473 pounds for sale, according to the latest data issued on the website of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest price for the purchase of the Kuwaiti dinar at «KFH- Egypt» at the level of 155.26 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

The lowest selling price of the Kuwaiti dinar in Banque du Caire came at a level of 154.32 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

UAE Dirham

While the price of the UAE dirham today in Egypt recorded 12.8956 pounds to buy, and 12.9242 pounds to sell, according to the latest data issued on the website of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest price to buy the UAE dirham today at «HSBC» at the level of 12.93 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

The lowest selling price of the UAE dirham was recorded today at Banque du Caire at a level of 12.86 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.
