Foreign exchange rates at the end of Sunday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed a decrease at the end of Sunday 25 January 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.0002 for buying and EGP 47.1366 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in «BANK NXT» at EGP 47.35 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 47.04 .

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 55.5825 for buying and EGP 55.7626 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in «BANK NXT» at EGP 55.41 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «HSBC» at EGP 55.20 .

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.1130 for buying and EGP 64.3367 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «QNB» at EGP 63.54 .

While the lowest rate for selling was in «HSBC» at EGP 63.36 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.5331 for buying and EGP 12.5701 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «BANK NXT» at EGP 12.61 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 12.55 .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 153.9476 for buying and EGP 154.4449 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 154.08 .

The lowest price for selling was in «Credit Agricole Bank» at EGP 154.07 .

Emirati Dirham
