Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Tuesday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the beginning of trading on Tuesday 27 January 2026, and we monitor the currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:

US Dollar

The price of the dollar against the Egyptian pound today recorded 47.0194 pounds for purchase and 47.1194 pounds for sale, according to the latest data issued on the website of the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest price to buy the dollar in «AUB» came at the level of 47.27 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

The lowest selling price of the dollar in «FABMISR» was at 47.00 pounds at the beginning of Egyptian banks’ transactions today.

Euro

The price of the euro against the Egyptian pound today recorded 55.7321 pounds for purchase and 55.7321 pounds for sale, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.

The highest price to buy the euro in Suez Canal Bank, «ADIB» at the level of 55.66 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

The lowest selling price of the euro at Banque du cairo was recorded at a level of 55.39 pounds at the beginning of the transactions of Egyptian banks today.

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.2191 for buying and EGP 64.3746 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in Sues Canal Bank, and «ADIB» at EGP 64.17 .

While the lowest rate for selling was in «HSBC» at EGP 63.63 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.5385 for buying and EGP 12.5659 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «AUB» at EGP 12.60 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR», and Faisal Bank at EGP 12.53 .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 154.1115 for buying and EGP 154.4899 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «SAIB» at EGP 154.06 .

The lowest price for selling was in «FABMISR» at EGP 154.05 .

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.8007 for buying and EGP 12.8293 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in Banque du Cairo at EGP 12.85 .

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «FABMISR» at EGP 12.80 .
