EGX30 beginning Monday with 1.21% decrease in benchmark index

Egyptian Stock Exchange «EGX30» has Started Monday 2 February 2026 trading session with market capitalization of 3.141 trillion.
The benchmark EGX30 index opened today’s session at 47.662 points, recording a 1.21% decrease in early trading to reach 47.084 points.
Investors traded on 214 shares, 87 shares rose, 61 fell and 66 shares remained stable.
However, the turnover reached 309 million securities dealt in cash executed on 40 thousand transactions, bringing the total trading volume to 1.26 bn.
