The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the end of thursday 5 February 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar fell against EGP recorded EGP 46.8616 for buying and EGP 46.9943 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 47.06 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 46.89 .
Euro
The Euro fell against EGP recorded EGP 55.3482 for buying and EGP 55.5096 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 55.47 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» Bank at EGP 55.37 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 64.2425 for buying and EGP 64.4432 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «EBank» at EGP 64.29 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 64.05 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.4958 for buying and EGP 12.5318 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «EBank» at EGP 12.55 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EGBank» at EGP 12.50 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar decline today against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 153.3930 for buying and EGP 153.8777 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 153.61 .
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole at EGP 153.61 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.7573 for buying and EGP 12.7956 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «EBank», Banque du Cairo at EGP 12.81 .
