The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of thursday 12 February 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar against EGP recorded EGP 46.7848 for buying and EGP 46.9183 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 46.88 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 46.84 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 55.7113 for buying and EGP 55.8750 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NBK-Egypt» at EGP 55.77 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» Bank at EGP 55.71 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 63.0531 for buying and EGP 64.2499 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 64.09 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 64.02 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.4743 for buying and EGP 12.5105 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 12.50 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD», «EGBank» at EGP 12.49 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose today against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 153.3425 for buying and EGP 153.8304 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
