The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of wednesday 18 February 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 46.9688 for buying and EGP 47.0688 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in Suez Canal Bank, «ABK-Egypt», «FABMISR», «Saib» at EGP 46.99 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 46.86 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 55.5594 for buying and EGP 55.6824 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «CIB» at EGP 55.59 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 55.63 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling fell against EGP recorded at EGP 63.6615 for buying and EGP 63.8112 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «CIB» at EGP 63.90 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 63.89 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.5237 for buying and EGP 12.5510 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt», «KFH-Egypt» at EGP 12.52 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 12.50 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose today against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 153.8952 for buying and EGP 154.2734 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 153.96 .
The lowest price for selling was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 153.81 .
Emirati Dirham
