The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of sunday 22 February 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 47.7562 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 47.8562, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ABK-Egypt», «IDB», «CIB», «NXT Bank», «Saib» at EGP 47.77 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Suez Canal Bank at EGP 47.09 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 56.2568 for buying and EGP 56.3889 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «QNB-Misr» at EGP 56.13 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 56.25 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 64.3849 for buying and EGP 64.5341 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «QNB-Misr» at EGP 64.28 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in Suez Canal Bank at EGP 64.21 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.7299 for buying and EGP 12.7582 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ABK-Egypt» at EGP 12.73 .
The lowest rate for selling was in Suez Canal Bank at EGP 12.56 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 156.3214 for buying, EGP 156.70 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 156.52 .
The lowest price for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 155.99 .
Emirati Dirham
