Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Tuesday trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of tuesday 24 February 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar fell slightly against EGP recorded EGP 47.6867 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 47.7867, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in  «CIB» at EGP 47.90 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 47.68 .

Euro

The Euro against EGP recorded EGP 56.2321 for buying and EGP 56.3548 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in «CIB» at EGP 56.46 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 56.42 .

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling against EGP recorded at EGP 64.3913 for buying and EGP 64.5311 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «CIB» at EGP 64.59 .

While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 64.53 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.7103 for buying and EGP 12.7390 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in «CIB» at EGP 12.75 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 12.72 .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar fell against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 156.1705 for buying, EGP 156.5493 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 156.23 .

The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole Bank at EGP 156.44 .

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9816 for buying and EGP 13.0124 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «CIB» at EGP 13.03 .

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 12.99 .
