EGX30 beginning Sundday with 3.29% decrease in benchmark

Egyptian Stock Exchange «EGX30» has Started sunday 1 March 2026 trading session with market capitalization of 3.141 trillion.

The benchmark EGX30 index opened today’s session at 49.212 points, recording a 3.29% decrease in early trading to reach 47.594 points.

Investors traded on 216 shares, 1 shares rose, 199 fell and 16 shares remained stable.

However, the turnover reached 585 million securities dealt in cash executed on 90 thousand transactions, bringing the total trading volume to 2.36 bn.
