The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of monday 2 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 49.1744 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 49.2744 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 49.75 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 48.00 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 57.7062 for buying and EGP 57.8334 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 5.20 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 56.76 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 65.9724 for buying and EGP 66.1164 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 66.24 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 64.83 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rose against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.0964 for buying and EGP 13.1314 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.26 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 12.80 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 160.8321 for buying, EGP 161.2119 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 161.21 .
The lowest price for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 157.15 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham rose today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.3866 for buying and EGP 13.4160 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.54 .
