The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of monday 9 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rose against EGP recorded EGP 52.7254 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 52.8254 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NBK-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 52.80 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 50.19 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 60.9453 for buying and EGP 61.0768 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NBK-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 60.76 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 58.46 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 70.3515 for buying and EGP 70.5114 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», «NBK-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 70.14 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 67.19 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rose against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.0433 for buying and EGP 14.0725 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.06 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 13.37 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 172.0804 for buying, EGP 172.4630 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 172.80 .
The lowest price for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 163.94 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.3514 for buying and EGP 14.3844 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
