The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of tuesday 17 March 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar against EGP recorded EGP 52.3081 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 52.4081 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt», Suez Canal Bank at EGP 52.36 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 52.30 .
Euro
The Euro against rose EGP recorded EGP 60.2275 for buying and EGP 60.3531 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «MID-Bank» at EGP 60.08 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 60.19 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 69.7580 for buying and EGP 69.9071 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «MID-Bank» at EGP 69.54 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 69.63 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.9291 for buying and EGP 13.9572 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 13.95 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 13.95 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 170.4678 for buying, EGP 170.8494 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
