The foreign exchange rate witnessed slightly changes at the end of monday 6 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar against EGP recorded EGP 54.3860 for buying, while the sell price to EGP 54.4860 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 54.52 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 54.39 .
Euro
The Euro rose against EGP recorded EGP 62.8213 for buying and EGP 62.9531 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 62.73 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 62.92 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rose against EGP recorded at EGP 72.0506 for buying and EGP 72.1885 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 71.86 .
While the lowest rate for selling was in «Emirates-NBD» at EGP 72.12 .
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.4856 for buying and EGP 14.5141 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.52 .
The lowest rate for selling was in «FABMISR», «HDB», Al Barka Bank at EGP 14.50 .
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rose against EGP in Egypt reached EGP 177.1531 for buying, EGP 177.5367 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in «Saib» at EGP 177.17 .
The lowest price for selling was in «HDB» at EGP 177.45 .
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham rose today in Egypt recorded EGP 14.8033 for buying and EGP 14.8366 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 14.84 .
