Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Tuesday trading
The foreign exchange rates witnessed a stability at the beginning of Tuesday 14 April 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
U.S. Dollar
The average dollar rate against EGP recorded a decrease yesterday at EGP 53.0826 for buying, while the sell price recorded EGP 53.1826 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in EGBANK at EGP 53.29 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling was in Emirates NBD Egypt at EGP 53.09 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The average Euro rate witnessed a decrease against EGP yesterday, as it recorded EGP 62.0004 for buying and EGP 62.1226 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in EGBANK at EGP 62.08 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling was in ADCB Egypt and EBank at EGP 62.07 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling decreased during today's trading against EGP to EGP 71.1890 for buying and EGP 71.3391 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in Arab African International Bank at EGP 71.29 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
While the lowest rate for selling was in EBank at EGP 71.29 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal witnessed a slight decrease at the close of yesterday's trading to record EGP 14.1448 for buying and EGP 14.1729 for selling, according to data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB Egypt, ABK Egypt, and EBank at EGP 14.15 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling the Saudi riyal was in Emirates NBD Egypt and Al Baraka Bank Egypt at EGP 14.16 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar witnessed a noticeable decrease at the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt to reach EGP 173.1612 for buying and EGP 173.5440 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in HSBC Egypt at EGP 173.28 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest price for selling the Kuwaiti dinar was in Credit Agricole Egypt at EGP 173.38 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham decreased at the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt to EGP 14.4505 for buying and EGP 14.4837 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in Bank of Alexandria at EGP 14.49 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Emirates NBD Egypt and Al Baraka Bank Egypt at EGP 14.47 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
