Foreign exchange rates at the end of Tuesday trading
The foreign exchange rates witnessed noticeable decreases at the close of Tuesday 14 April 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
U.S. Dollar
The average dollar rate against EGP recorded a decrease today at EGP 52.4580 for buying, while the sell price recorded EGP 52.5580 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in EBank at EGP 53.10 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling was in Emirates NBD Egypt at EGP 52.47 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The average Euro rate witnessed a decrease against EGP today, as it recorded EGP 61.8795 for buying and EGP 62.0079 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in EBank at EGP 62.42 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling was in CIB at EGP 61.87 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling saw a slight increase during today's trading against EGP to EGP 71.2065 for buying and EGP 71.3580 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in EBank at EGP 71.68 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
While the lowest rate for selling was in CIB at EGP 71.08 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal witnessed a decrease at the close of today's trading to record EGP 13.9784 for buying and EGP 14.0058 for selling, according to data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in EBank at EGP 14.15 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling the Saudi riyal was in Faisal Islamic Bank at EGP 13.99 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar witnessed a noticeable decrease at the close of today's trading in Egypt to reach EGP 171.2076 for buying and EGP 171.5899 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in AIB at EGP 171.24 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest price for selling the Kuwaiti dinar was in HSBC Egypt at EGP 171.44 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham decreased at the close of today's trading in Egypt to EGP 14.2805 for buying and EGP 14.3136 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
