EGX30 End Wednesday with 0.03% decrease in benchmark index

The market capitalization of listed equities on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.604 trillion at the close of trading on wednesday, April 22, 2026.

The benchmark EGX30 index declined by 0.03% to close at 51,962 points.

Investors traded on 220 stocks, with around 125 stocks rising, approximately 79 declining, and 16 remaining unchanged.

Trading volume reached approximately 3.15 billion shares executed through 226.63 thousand transactions, with a total trading value of about EGP 11.96 billion.
