Foreign Exchange Rates at the Start of Trading in Egyptian Banks on Monday, April 27, 2026

Foreign currency rates showed relative stability at the beginning of trading in Egyptian banks on Monday, April 27, 2026. The following report highlights the latest exchange rate movements:

US Dollar
The average USD exchange rate rose against the Egyptian pound yesterday, recording EGP 52.6328 for buying and EGP 52.7328 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate for the dollar was recorded at «ADIB-Egypt» at EGP 52.69 at the start of today’s trading.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 52.06.

Euro
The average euro exchange rate also increased against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 61.6698 for buying and EGP 61.8081 for selling, based on data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate was recorded at «ELAB» at EGP 61.57.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 61.23.

British Pound
The British pound rose against the Egyptian pound yesterday, recording EGP 71.2121 for buying and EGP 71.3738 for selling, according to the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate was recorded at the Egyptian Arab Land Bank and Mid Bank at EGP 70.98.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 70.46.

Saudi Riyal
The Saudi riyal increased at the close of yesterday’s trading, reaching EGP 14.0320 for buying and EGP 14.0594 for selling, based on Central Bank of Egypt data.
The highest buying rate was recorded at «ADIB» at EGP 14.05.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 13.89.

Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar also rose, recording EGP 171.6939 for buying and EGP 172.0763 for selling, according to the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate was recorded at «HSBC» at EGP 171.75.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 169.91.

UAE Dirham
The UAE dirham increased at the close of yesterday’s trading, reaching EGP 14.3285 for buying and EGP 14.3569 for selling, according to the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying rate was recorded at «ADIB» at EGP 14.35.
The lowest selling rate was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 14.18.
