Currency rates at the beginning of Tuesday trading
The foreign exchange rates witnessed a stability at the beginning of Tuesday 28 April 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
U.S. Dollar
The average dollar rate against EGP recorded a decrease yesterday at EGP 52.5037 for buying, while the sell price recorded EGP 52.6037 according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in EBank at EGP 52.65 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling was in Emirates NBD at EGP 52.52 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The average Euro rate witnessed a decrease against EGP yesterday, as it recorded EGP 61.6551 for buying and EGP 61.7778 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in EBank at EGP 61.55 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling was in Emirates NBD at EGP 61.70 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling decreased during yesterday's trading against EGP to EGP 71.1793 for buying and EGP 71.3306 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in EBank and Suez Canal Bank at EGP 71.10 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
While the lowest rate for selling was in Emirates NBD at EGP 71.16 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal witnessed a decrease at the close of yesterday's trading to record EGP 13.9976 for buying and EGP 14.0250 for selling, according to data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in EBank at EGP 14.04 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest rate for selling the Saudi riyal was in Emirates NBD at EGP 14.01 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar witnessed a decrease at the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt to reach EGP 171.3288 for buying and EGP 171.7112 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in HSBC at EGP 171.38 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest price for selling the Kuwaiti dinar was in CIB at EGP 171.54 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham witnessed a decrease at the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt to EGP 14.2937 for buying and EGP 14.3217 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in EBank at EGP 14.33 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was in Credit Agricole at EGP 14.29 at the beginning of Egyptian bank trading today.
