Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Thusday trading
The foreign exchange rate witnessed stability at the beginning of thursday 30 April 2026 trading at Egypt's major banks.
We monitor foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt through the following report:
US Dollar
The average price of the US dollar rose against the Egyptian pound, reaching EGP 52.9771 for buying and EGP 53.0771 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB – Egypt», «ABK – Egypt» at EGP 53.05 .
The lowest selling price was recorded at «AIB» at EGP 52.88.
Euro
The euro also increased, recording EGP 62.0097 for buying and EGP 62.1321 for selling, according to the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at «ADIB – Egypt» at EGP 62.04.
The lowest selling price was at «AIB» at EGP 61.98.
British Pound
The British pound saw increase, reaching EGP 71.5562 for buying and EGP 71.7125 for selling, according to the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 71.59.
The lowest selling price was at «AIB» at EGP 71.54.
Saudi Riyal
The Saudi riyal recorded a slight rise, reaching EGP 14.1250 for buying and EGP 14.1524 for selling, according to the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait «ABK» at EGP 14.14.
The lowest selling price was at «AIB» at EGP 14.10.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar increased to EGP 172.2723 for buying and EGP 172.6550 for selling, according to the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at «HSBC» at EGP 172.92.
The lowest selling price was at «EBank» at EGP 172.60.
UAE Dirham
The UAE dirham also rose, reaching EGP 14.4230 for buying and EGP 14.4510 for selling, according to the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank «ADIB» at EGP 14.44.
The lowest selling price was at «AIB» at EGP 14.40.
