EGX30 End Thursday with 1.07% increase in benchmark index

The market capitalization of listed equities on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.717 trillion at the close of trading on sunday, May 3, 2026.

The benchmark EGX30 decreased by 1.07% to close at 52.312 points.

Investors traded 220 stocks, with approximately 150 gaining, 54 declining, and 16 remaining unchanged.

Trading volume reached around 2.30 billion shares executed through 259.96 transactions, bringing the total trading value to approximately EGP 10.49 billion.
