The market capitalization of listed equities on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.682 trillion at the close of trading on Monday, May 4, 2026.
The benchmark EGX30 Decreased by 0.65% to close at 51.973 points.
Investors traded 220 stocks, with approximately 81 gaining, 125 declining, and 14 remaining unchanged.
Trading volume reached around 2.60 billion shares executed through 265.68 transactions, bringing the total trading value to approximately EGP 12.03 billion.
