EGX30 end Wednesday with 1.99% increase in benchmark index
The market capitalization of listed equities on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.753 trillion at the close of trading on wednesday, May 6, 2026.
The benchmark EGX30 increased by 1.99% to close at 53.605 points.
Investors traded 223 stocks, with approximately 116 gaining, 90 declining, and 17 remaining unchanged.
Trading volume reached around 2.21 billion shares executed through 259.59 transactions, bringing the total trading value to approximately EGP 13.81 billion.
