EGX30 beginning Wednesday with 0.60% decrease in benchmark index

The market capitalization of listed equities on the Egyptian Exchange’s main market reached EGP 3.830 trillion at the start of trading on wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The main index, EGX30, opened today’s session at 54.058 points and decreased by 0.60% in early trading to reach 53.734 points.

Investors traded on 217 stocks, of which 110 rose, 71 declined, and 36 remained unchanged.

Trading volume reached approximately 648 million shares executed through 74 transactions, with a total trading value of about EGP 3.05 billion.
