Currency rates at the close of Monday trading
The foreign exchange rates witnessed decreases at the close of Monday 1 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
US Dollar
The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound today, reaching EGP 51.9560 for buying and EGP 52.0560 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was recorded at IDB at EGP 52.25 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was recorded at Emirates NBD and Credit Agricole at EGP 51.97 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound today, reaching EGP 60.5028 for buying and EGP 60.6296 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at IDB at EGP 60.83 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at Emirates NBD and Credit Agricole at EGP 60.62 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
British Pound
The British pound also recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound today, reaching EGP 69.9432 for buying and EGP 70.0934 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at IDB at EGP 70.26 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at Emirates NBD and Credit Agricole at EGP 70.03 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Saudi Riyal
The Saudi riyal recorded a slight decrease by the close of trading today, reaching EGP 13.8442 for buying and EGP 13.8716 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at ADIB at EGP 13.91 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at Credit Agricole at EGP 13.85 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar recorded a decrease by the close of trading in Egypt today, reaching EGP 169.3757 for buying and EGP 169.7571 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at saib at EGP 169.53 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at FAB at EGP 168.19 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
UAE Dirham
